About Quest Alumni Association (QAA)
The Queenstown Secondary School Alumni Association (QAA), also known as the Quest Alumni Association, brings together generations of Queenstownians connected by a shared sense of identity, heritage and service.
The Quest Alumni Association was founded by the pioneer batch of 1959 and officially registered in 1977. Since its formation, QAA has served as a bridge between alumni, the school, students and the wider Quest community. Guided by the school motto, "Dare to Serve", the association seeks to foster meaningful connections across generations while supporting the continued growth and development of the school.
QAA exists for every Queenstownian — whether you graduated decades ago or just recently. It is our home to reconnect, a network to grow, and a platform to give back to the school and community that shaped you.
Reconnect. Grow. Give Back. These are the values that define us and the promise we make to one another as a community.
As QAA continues to grow, we remain committed to building an inclusive, active and forward-looking alumni community — one that honours the legacy of those who came before us, and inspires those who will come after.
Message from the President
Quest has always been more than just a school — it is a community that shapes us, challenges us, and calls us to be our best selves.
Founded by our pioneer batch of 1959, the Quest Alumni Association carries a legacy built on one enduring spirit — Dare to Serve. Across generations, Queenstownians have gone on to lead in business, government and the community. That foundation, built in the corridors and classrooms of Queenstown Secondary, is something we all share — and it is what continues to bind us long after we have left its gates.
The QAA exists for every alumnus — to reconnect with long-lost schoolmates and relive the memories that shaped who we are today. To grow alongside a network of fellow Queenstownians who support and uplift one another professionally and personally. And to give back — contributing our time, experience and expertise to guide the next generation of students as they chart their own journeys.
Reconnect. Grow. Give Back. These are not just words — they are the promise we make to one another as a community.
As we journey towards Quest100, I invite every alumnus to step forward — not because you have to, but because you belong here, and because together, we are stronger. Whether you are returning after many years or have never stopped giving, there is a place for you in this community.
Dare to Serve.

Our Purpose & Mission
Guided by the school motto "Dare to Serve", the Quest Alumni Association (QAA) exists to build a strong, connected and inclusive alumni community that supports Queenstown Secondary School, its students and generations of Queenstownians.
As one of the earliest registered secondary school alumni associations in Singapore, QAA carries a proud legacy that began with our pioneer batch of 1959. Building on that foundation, we remain committed to creating meaningful opportunities for every alumnus to belong, contribute and grow.
Reconnect
At the heart of QAA is a community bound by shared memories, friendships and a common identity. We create spaces and opportunities for alumni across all generations to come together, rekindle old friendships and celebrate the experiences that made us Queenstownians.
Grow
QAA is a platform where alumni support and uplift one another. Whether you are navigating a career transition, exploring new opportunities or seeking a trusted network, the collective wisdom and experience of our alumni community is here for you. Together, we learn, collaborate and grow.
Give Back
We believe in paying it forward. Through mentorship, career guidance, internships and school partnerships, QAA alumni contribute their time and expertise to support our students and younger Queenstownians as they chart their own journeys. In giving, we honour the spirit of Dare to Serve and the legacy of those who came before us.
As we journey together towards Quest100, QAA remains committed to being a vibrant, forward-looking community — one that lives the values of Dare to Serve in everything we do.
Our Work & Contributions
The Quest Alumni Association (QAA) has a long and proud tradition of giving back to Queenstown Secondary School, its students and the wider Quest community. Guided by our three pillars — Reconnect, Grow and Give Back — our work spans alumni engagement, career development, student support and heritage preservation.
Reconnect
QAA creates meaningful opportunities for alumni to come together, celebrate shared memories and strengthen the bonds that unite us as Queenstownians.
In 2026, Queenstown Secondary School marked its 70th Anniversary with Quest70 — a commemorative gala dinner organised in collaboration between QAA and the school. The celebration brought together alumni across generations, former educators, students, partners and members of the wider Quest community in a joyful tribute to the school's heritage, achievements and enduring spirit.
Grow
QAA plays an active role in helping students and alumni navigate their personal and professional journeys.
Through the school's Education and Career Guidance (ECG) programme, alumni connect with students through sharing sessions, ECG chats, external learning journeys and work attachment opportunities. These initiatives give students real-world exposure, broaden their perspectives and open doors to possibilities beyond the classroom.
For alumni, QAA serves as a platform to network, collaborate and support one another — drawing on the collective wisdom, experience and generosity of a community that spans generations and industries.
Give Back
At the core of QAA's work is a deep commitment to supporting our students and school.
Through the Quest-Vantage initiative, alumni contribute across three key areas — student recognition, education and career guidance, and curriculum enrichment. The Quest Alumni Association Awards recognise deserving students for their achievements and growth in academic, character and leadership development, providing direct encouragement and support for students who strive for excellence.
Alumni have also enriched the school's curriculum and co-curricular programmes by bringing their professional expertise and life experiences into the classroom, giving students a richer and more connected learning experience.
In a particularly meaningful initiative, selected alumni have been interviewed by Secondary 2 students since 2025 as part of their history investigation projects. These conversations bring Singapore's history and the school's legacy to life, inspiring students to embrace the spirit of Dare to Serve. Their stories will be featured in the reimagined heritage gallery launching in 2026.
As we look ahead towards Quest100, QAA remains committed to deepening alumni engagement, preserving our shared heritage and building a community as proud of its roots as it is excited about what lies ahead.
Our Management Committee
The Quest Alumni Association (QAA) is guided by a volunteer Management Committee of fellow Queenstownians who are passionate about strengthening the alumni community and giving back to the school.
The current Management Committee serves a two-year term from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028.
